Just Sold Social Media Post Examples (12 Templates Agents Are Using Now)

12 copy-and-paste Just Sold post templates for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn — including the angles that actually generate seller leads (not just likes).

A Just Sold post is the single highest-leverage piece of content an agent will publish all month. Done right, it's a billboard that says "I move homes in your zip code." Done wrong, it's a bragging photo nobody saves.

Here are 12 Just Sold templates — split by goal — plus the 3 mistakes that kill their reach.

The 3-second test every Just Sold post must pass

A scroller should know, before reading any caption, three things from the image and first line:

  1. What sold (street + style)
  2. How fast / for how much (the proof)
  3. Who you are (the agent attribution)

If any of those are missing, the post becomes a "nice congrats!" post — which is invisible to sellers.

Goal 1: Generate seller leads (your highest-ROI angle)

Template 1 — The proof-of-results angle

SOLD on [Street] — $[X] over list, 6 days on market.
If you're thinking about selling in [Neighborhood] this spring, this is your sign. The buyers are here. The inventory isn't. Comment SELL or DM me and I'll send your home's current value.

Template 2 — The "what worked" angle

Just closed [Street] · Listed Thursday, 11 offers by Sunday.
What worked: pricing $15K under comp, pro photos + drone, and a Friday-only preview for top agents. Same playbook works on your home — DM "VALUE" for a free walk-through.

Template 3 — The neighborhood spotlight

Another one closed in [Neighborhood] 🎉
That's [X] homes I've sold here in the last 12 months. Average price up [Y]% YoY. If you bought before 2022, you have more equity than you think. DM "EQUITY" for the 60-second math.

Goal 2: Build trust with future buyers

Template 4 — The buyer congrats post

Officially homeowners 🔑
[First names] saw 17 houses, wrote 4 offers, lost 2 in a week, and finally got the one. The right house was worth the patience. Welcome home, you two.

Template 5 — The first-time buyer win

This is what a first-time buyer win looks like 🥲
[Name] saved for 3 years, got pre-approved in February, and closed on her first place 11 weeks later. Renters: this is possible. DM "FIRST" and I'll send the exact roadmap she used.

Template 6 — The relocation close

From [City] → [City], without ever flying out.
The [Family Name] toured 12 homes by FaceTime, picked their favorite, and closed sight-unseen. Moving across country? It's more doable than you think. DM "MOVE" and let's plan it.

Goal 3: Reinforce your niche

Template 7 — Luxury

SOLD · [Street] · $[Price]
5 bd · 4 ba · 1.2 acres · architect-designed in [Year]. Represented the buyer in a private off-market transaction. The best homes in [City] never hit the MLS. DM for the off-market list.

Template 8 — Investor

Closed: 4-unit in [Neighborhood] · $[Price] · [X]% cap rate at close.
Cash-flowing day one. Two units already on month-to-month, two on annual leases at market. Looking for similar? I have 3 active off-market leads — DM "DEALS."

Template 9 — New construction

Keys delivered on [Street] 🏗
9 months from breaking ground to move-in. If you've been waiting for the right new-build, [Builder] just released 4 more lots in [Community]. DM "BUILD" for the floor plans.

Goal 4: Reactivate your sphere

Template 10 — The "I had a great month" recap

April recap: 4 sold, 2 under contract, 1 listing going live Friday.
Every single one came from a referral. If you know someone thinking about a move this summer, send them my way — coffee's on me.

Template 11 — The thank-you post

Thank you, [First Name], for trusting me with the sale of your family home.
15 years of memories in that kitchen. Worth doing right. Onto the next chapter.

Template 12 — The market-pulse Just Sold

Sold in 4 days. 9 offers. $32K over ask.
If anyone tells you the [City] market is slowing down, send them this. DM "REPORT" for the actual numbers — not the headlines.

3 mistakes that kill Just Sold reach

  1. Photo of you holding a SOLD sign. The algorithm reads this as a selfie, not real estate. Use the house.
  2. "Congrats to my clients!" with no context. Nobody scrolling cares unless you tell them why this matters in their market.
  3. No CTA. Every Just Sold post should ask for one thing — a DM, a comment, a saved post. Otherwise it converts to nothing.
